A Message from the Rector 3/17/20
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Bishop Love has asked that all parishes in the diocese suspend public worship on weekdays and Sundays from now until the end of March.
As such, all public worship at Holy Cross is suspended until further notice. I know this news will be upsetting for many but, given the current circumstances and the risks involved in public gatherings it is not unreasonable.
While public services will not be offered, my hope is that I will be able to keep the church available for private prayer during the day. I’ll be consulting with the Wardens and others and will let you know as soon as I can.
Above all, please keep up your prayers: for the protection and recover of those who are sick and vulnerable; for the souls who have succumb to this disease; for the families and loved ones of those who have died; and for our nation and the world, that we all may be granted a spirit of peace and calmness in the face of these adversities.
O Savior of the World, who by thy Cross and Precious Blood has redeemed us: Save us and Help us, we humbly beseech thee, O Lord.
Faithfully in Christ,
Thomas+
